Product Overview

This particular dehumidifier model provides cleansing and environment control for any home. The 7L extraction works at regular intervals daily, working alongside the Eco E7 technology to detect and adjust humidity levels accordingly.  These functions work with the built-in ioniser, as well as silver filter to actively work against the build-up of bacteria wherever the device is placed. Another feature of the best home dehumidifier included is the 3D-Louvre technology so that the device can focus on problem areas in a room and target them accordingly.

The features included are the handy tilt over protection, a timer with 3 optimal settings, auto-restart and shutdown options, as well as a water full indicator. A unique addition to the device is its over-dry protection property, to prevent the air from getting too dry. This unit is easy to use thanks to its electronic control panel, a removable water tank and a built-in carry handle.

Product Features

  • Auto Toggle Power Saver - The Eco E7 technology allows the unit to sense and adjust ambient temperature and humidity level, as well as to easily shuffle between full power, economy power and standby modes.

  • Optimized water usage - The device can extract up to 7L of moisture per day and has a removable water bucket that comes with its own carry handle.
  • Overdry protection - While most dehumidifiers struggle with producing unnecessary “over-dry” air, the DD1 Classic MK5 model can toggle easily between its mods, preventing the air from getting too dry.
  • Actively fights against bacteria -The included ioniser and silver filter make the device perfect for facing off against bacterias.
  • Features - Comes with a tilt over protection, a water full indicator, as well as an auto-restart and shutdown function in case of a power cut.

FAQ

Desiccant dehumidifiers use an absorbent material, usually Zeolite, that soaks up water vapour from the air, just like silica gel. The desiccant material is located in the wheel, that slowly rotates. The fan draws the air through that wheel, and the air dries. Moisture is extracted from the desiccant by heating a portion of the wheel not being used to dry the air. This transforms the water back into vapour, which is then passed over a cold plate to cool the mixture and cause the water to condense.
Desiccant dehumidifiers will work best in temperatures from 1℃ up to 40℃. They are also very practical and efficient with a very high capacity for water extraction.

Compressor dehumidifiers work best at higher temperatures, starting from 15℃. Note that tests are made in the temperature of about 30℃ and humidity level of 80%.
The performance of such dehumidifier tends to depend on environmental conditions, which is referred to as sensible capacity. Note that in the real working environment, the sensible performance of a compressor dehumidifier will be lower, that in the test environment.

The compressor dehumidifier works best at 15℃ or higher. The desiccant dehumidifier, on the other hand, can work at temperatures as low as 1℃. In case you plan to leave the boat dehumidifier without supervision for an extended period during winter, the desiccant dehumidifier is ideal for you. Ensure the dehumidifier has the automatic restart feature, in case the electricity is unstable.

The crucial features are the humidistat, automatic reset and a cut off switch. The automatic reset will turn the dehumidifier on when the power source comes back. The humidistat will make sure that your dehumidifier is working on an optimal level, and will turn off as soon as the humidity reaches the pre-set level. The cut-off switch will stop the operation of the dehumidifier, as soon as the water tank is full. There is also a light indicator of such an event that will turn on.

My basemend is very humid and I used to own a smaller dehumidifier that was not up for the challenge. I got a bigger one and now we can all feel the difference! It pulls a lot of water and got the humidity level from more than 75% to 50% overnight. You can also set it to comfort mode, which basically means it will decide the humidity level according to the tempreture

This device is surprisingly silent. It's not too big and not at all ugly. My last dehumidifier died on me after years of faithful service, so I decided to give this fellow a chance. And I'm glad I did. Recommended.

As we were all stuck at the house for a while we felt like we needed something to freshen the air and clean it really. We felt the humidity heavily. So this unit was able to help us out a lot and make the house much more comfortable for my mum as well. We were all quarantined in the same house. This unit also makes the clothes dry a lot quicker!

I've had another device for years, and this one doesn't fall short at all. Plus makes drying clothes a lot quicker.

It is very quiet. I honestly expected more noise! The delivery was prompt.
